Abstract
World heritage sites are places that already existed for a long time in the history and are deemed important in terms of historical significance, cultural significance, scientific significance, and so on. Every single one of the location that was declared as the world heritage site provides huge universal value towards humans. Hence, it is important to preserve these sites as well as providing resources and methods so that people that wish to gain more information related to these sites are able to utilize it and learn more about the sites. Lenggong Valley is a located at Perak, Malaysia and UNESCO declared it as a world heritage site during the date 30th June 2012. Considering that the only way to gain information related to Lenggong Valley currently is by searching at the internet and most of the information comes in the form of text and pictures only, it lacks interactivity and people will feel bored or lazy to read through the text heavy information. There will also be 3D navigation as well as augmented reality in the modules of the software. Users will be able to navigate freely through the modules of this software based on their personal preference. The methodology used during this project is ADDIE model which includes Analysis phase, Design phase, Development phase, Implementation phase, and Evaluation phase. The expected outcome of the software will be start menu, main menu, alongside with 5 modules which includes Quiz module, Simulation module, Map Navigation module, AR module, and Timeline module.
