Abstract
E-Wallet is an electronic wallet that has helped in easing users’ daily transactions without the needs for coins or paper money. It has helped in reducing some of the risks that were brought by paper money, and it has brought more advantages over its cons. This study will propound on the 4 Perceived Risks factors, namely Psychological Risk, Privacy Risk, Performance Risk, and Financial Risk, that affects Generations Zs’ reluctancy to adopt E-Wallet in India, China, and Malaysia to assist Fintech Companies and future researchers to decipher the Generation Zs’ experience with E-Wallet, differences in usage among the Generation Zs’ in the three countries, and uncover the Perceived Risk that has the most impact onto the Generation Z. A total number of 14 respondents were being interviewed. The participants were chosen using the Purposive Sampling Method, and 5 participants from Malaysia and China were selected, whereas 4 participants from India were being interviewed. A Phenomenological Designed Qualitative Research Method were used to conduct the research project as it could provide a greater study by looking into the insights of Generation Z by uncovering the participants’ inner essence and getting honest responses from the chosen participants. Atlas.TI9 was used to perform the coding processes, and some managerial and theoretical implications were suggested to future readers. From the result, Privacy Risk has the critical impact on all three countries, Financial Risk only applies to the Malaysian Participants, and Psychological and Performance Risk has the least impact on all three countries.
