Abstract
The paper aims to modernize the existing campus transportation infrastructure by integrating advanced technologies into a cohesive, user-centric solution. This project focuses on the development of a fully functional mobile application that utilizes efficient payment methods, real-time tracking, and personalized transit scheduling to enhance the user experience for students, administrators, and bus drivers. The core feature of the system is NFC-based payment integration for quick and secure transactions. Real-time GPS tracking for accurate bus location and dynamic seat availability updates are also included. OCR technology is employed to automate bus scheduling based on students' class timetables, ensuring timely arrivals and reducing the manual planning burden on users. By adopting these technologies, the university is able to provide a modern, efficient, and user-friendly solution, significantly enhancing the campus shuttle experience. This project not only addresses the current challenges of the bus transit system but also positions UTAR at the forefront of campus transportation innovation, setting a new standard for efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
