Abstract
Navigating large supermarkets can be time-consuming and frustrating for customers. SmartShop Navigator is proposed to address these challenges. SmartShop Navigator – a mobile application designed to enhance shopping experience by providing a real-time indoor navigation to supermarket products. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons are integrated in this system for precise indoor positioning incorporating with AI to calculate the critical path and display in the mobile application to visually guide users to their selected products. The project leverages mobile app development (Flutter/React Native), Raspberry pi/Arduino for hardware control and Firebase for backend data management. A fully functional Android/iOS application that increases customer satisfaction, improves faster searches, and improves shopping efficiency is the expected outcome. This work contributes to advancements in Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS), IoT integration in retail, and user-friendly mobile navigation solutions, offering a scalable and cost-effective system for supermarkets.
