Abstract
This project focuses on the development of a music translation system designed to assist musicians and students in converting standard musical notation into numbered musical notation (Jianpu). The field of study covers music technology and human-computer interaction. The main problem addressed is the difficulty for beginner learners to understand and interact with standard music notation. The proposed solution is a cross-platform system that enables users to import and export input files, translate them into numbered musical notation, edit music notes, and play back audio for learning purposes. The system integrates various technologies: HTML and CSS for frontend design and user interface, Dart for user interactions, and JavaScript for backend logic. Additional functionality includes editing both notations, importing music sheets in various image file types, exporting files in MusicXML, PNG, and PDF formats, and music playback. The methodology follows the Phased Development approach from the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), where each module is built and refined incrementally. The research and development process includes requirement planning, analysis, system design, implementation, and maintenance phases.
