Abstract
Crescent Bay is a 3D first-person fishing simulation and casual adventure game developed using the Unity game engine. The game combines fishing, resource collection, shop management, exploration, and light combat mechanics within a stylized low-poly coastal environment. Players take the role of a protagonist who inherits a fishing business from his late uncle after being invited to Crescent Bay by his cousin, Lisa. Starting with basic equipment and a small raft, players must earn money and reputation by catching and selling fish while gradually improving their fishing skills and equipment. This game features a low-poly art style, which makes the game run more smoothly while maintaining the player's immersion and engagement. To achieve these advantages, the game will maintain a consistent visual style and a simplified environment and interface structure, allowing players to remain immersed without distractions and ensuring optimal gameplay performance. Crescent Bay's game area is located in a coastal town with beautiful beaches, iconic lighthouse buildings, and European style shophouses and harbor streets, all complemented by soft and bright colors to create a relaxed atmosphere for the game. This allows players who enjoy casual games to immerse themselves in the experience.
