Abstract
This study aims to investigate the factors affecting consumers' purchase intentions regarding sustainable last-mile delivery options in Malaysia, focussing on the roles of awareness of sustainable delivery practices, perceived significance of sustainability, and environmental concern. As more and more people want eco-friendly delivery methods in e-commerce, it's important to understand how people react in this area. A quantitative methodology was used for gathering data from urban Malaysian e-commerce consumers through a structured questionnaire. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to look at the responses and determine the way the independent variables (IVs) and the dependent variable (DV), purchase intention, were related. The findings indicate that the perceived significance of sustainability and nvironmental concern exert a substantial positive influence on consumers' purchasing intentions, whereas awareness of sustainable delivery practices demonstrated a less significant correlation. These results give businesses and policymakers useful information that can help them promote environmentally friendly delivery options. The study enhances the field of sustainable logistics by discussing the psychological and behavioural determinants that affect consumers' choices regarding environmentally friendly delivery options. Keywords: Sustainable Last-Mile Delivery, Consumer Purchase Intention, Environmental Concern, Perceived Importance of Sustainability, E-commerce, Malaysia
