Abstract
本文以章学诚（1738-1801）与袁枚（1716-1797）之间的妇学争论为主线，结合乾嘉两朝（1735-1820）妇女为学的风貌及学术流派的转变，进而展开对章学诚《文史通义》妇学观的探析与研究。合乎礼教伦理之观点，章氏认为妇女为学应谨遵内言不出于阃的主张，相沿静女由礼通诗之雅正，故炫才鹜名、因诗败礼的行为举止实不可取。虽说章氏妇学观多立论于“世道人心”的理念且具有其局限性，不可解除社会文化对妇女所造成的根本限定。但其妇学观的一套论说却为妇女提供了普适的修习方式，故讽章氏“卫道”的言辞亦当慎辨之。
