Abstract
The role of leadership plays a big impact on the outcome of employee and workplace emotions within an organisation. According to Appelbaum and Roy-Girard (2007), 30% of business failures were caused by the employee deviance. Recent studies have determined that the employees who work under the supervision of a leadership who provide ethical guidance, the deviance behaviour and job stress of the employees are tend to be lesser and higher job satisfaction (Mo & Shi, 2015). In contrast, toxic leader attempts to damage the organisation culture that lead to ethical climate and higher the workplace deviance in the organisation. This study is thus conducted to determine the relationship between leadership behaviour and workplace deviance. The results of this study will provide valuable managerial implications and provide more insight onto the literature of workplace deviance.
