Greenwashing has added ambiguity and risk to the investment environment when investors attempt to allocate funds to businesses with strong ESG profile. Thus, the effects of greenwashing on CFP in Malaysia, i.e., the research topic at hand, holds significant importance for various stakeholders in the investment and business industries. This study attempts to offer helpful insights into how CFP in Malaysia is impacted by greenwashing and how such relationship is moderated through CG practices. In Chapter 2, each variable will be explained in further depth. First-hand information was gathered from 29 Malaysian PLCs with good disclosures for this study. The corporate data are obtained from Refinitiv database. In Chapter 3, the research approach is thoroughly detailed. To ensure that the data is prepared for analysis, a number of steps are taken once the data is collected. All of the analyses in this study are carried out using EViews 12 Student Version Lite. Descriptive analysis, Pearson correlations analysis, and Panel data analysis are all included in this analysis. Every outcome is shown in table form for better understanding. Finally, some significant findings will be provided in the research's concluding section, and the implications, limitations, and recommendations for future study will be presented in this research. With any luck, this research can help the academic who wants to study the greenwashing topic on corporate financial performance.
