Abstract
This project is going to design a learning mobile application for children to enhance their learning interests and improve their creativity. It will provide the children with having great learning space to let children can gain knowledge and improve their skills. Due to the limitation of the traditional learning method and advances in technology, it is difficult for children to have education in the physical class learning effectively. But e-learning is gradually becoming a trend in education and one of the important methods of education. The mobile device is the first device that most children will contact. This is the main point the developer decided to develop the learning application into mobile. The aim of the project is trying to use the e- learning method to try solving the limitation of traditional learning methods at the same time enhance children's interest and creativity. The problem statements that exist in the learning environment, for now, are low efficiency of teaching methods means traditional are using the one-size-fits-all method for teaching, the teaching method is focused on results instead of the process so will cause children can't understand clearly the theory of the knowledge, quality contents of learning are low so children will unable to understand the knowledge via looking at the low contents and poor of the progress report which means parents can't know how their children progress due to the limited information provided in the report. By reviewing a few similar learning applications, this paper will talk about their strength and weakness. This application will try to develop a similar learning application by providing two areas which are the learning area and the entertainment area. The learning area will provide different kinds of subjects to children to improve their skills and will provide a quiz to children while for entertainment area will provide different tools such as drawing, editing, colouring and other tools to help children improve their creativity skills and help them generate interest beyond learning. So, this learning application will consist of lesson contents, quizzes, and tools. This application will be developed by the laptop and mobile device as software and android studio as software by using the java programming language and firebase.
