Abstract
In the digital age, personal finance management faces numerous challenges: difficulty tracking every expenditure, unclear budget planning, and complex multi-currency operations. This project proposes a mobile application designed to comprehensively address these issues. The application features intuitive expense logging and real-time budget tracking, alongside innovative capabilities: an arithmetic averaging algorithm for equitable splitting of group expenses, real-time multi-currency conversion with live exchange rates, automatic receipt scanning via OCR technology, and an AI-powered personalized spending analysis module. Developed using an agile framework built upon Visual Studio Code, Supabase, and Flutter, it incorporates dashboards and visualization features to provide users with a comprehensive financial overview. By integrating these advanced functionalities, the application aims to enhance personal financial engagement and efficiency, assisting users in adhering to budgets and avoiding overspending pressures. It advances fintech development by addressing gaps in existing tools and delivering improved solutions. For personal finance users, the application streamlines record-keeping, budgeting, and equitable expense-sharing processes, effectively alleviating financial anxiety and fostering superior financial outcomes.
