    Abstract

    This research paper aims at determining factors that affect entrepreneurial intention among Malaysian undergraduate students through theory of planned behavior as well as social cognitive career theory. This research seeks to find the correlation between entrepreneurial attitude, perceived behavioural control (PBC), subjective norms (SN), entrepreneurial education and students’ intention to embark on entrepreneurship. The cross sectional survey design was used with 220 Malaysian undergraduate students in different universities across different faculties selected using consecutive sampling and who completed self-administered questionnaires. The analysis were performed by following data analysis procedures in SPSS. Based on the analysis of the results, there is a significantly positive relationship between all the study variables and the E-Intention Further, the hypotheses to assert that entrepreneurial attitude, PBC, SN and entrepreneurial education positively influence the entrepreneurial intention of the Malaysian undergraduate students were supported. As such, this study aims at identifying moderators that influence entrepreneurial intentions and the findings yields policy robust post-scriptaries for education with regards to filtering young people for enterprise.
