    Abstract

Travel planning can be difficult when users need to search for attractions, arrange itineraries, check routes, and manage bookings on different platforms. This project aims to develop a tourism web application that helps users explore places in Malaysia, plan trips, and organize travel activities in a more convenient way. The system allows users to browse destinations, view place details, create trips, add attractions into day-based itineraries, and view routes using an interactive map. It also includes a sandbox hotel booking feature where users can search hotels, view room details, make simulated bookings, and check booking receipts. An admin module is provided to manage places, trip templates, hotel information, and booking records. The application is developed using React, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB Atlas. Leaflet is used for map display and route visualization, while JWT authentication is used to manage user access. Overall, this project provides a simple and organized platform for tourism planning, helping users reduce manual planning work and improve their travel experience.
